As the title says welcome to Alaska PCP! And no we are not a bunch of druggies here. The forerunners: Uncooked Cabbage, Snowbat, and myself as well as a few others who we are waiting to join up, all had a site a long time ago that was pretty much a statement of who we were and that was about as far as it went. Mostly due to the fact that none of us wanted to take the time to mess around with HTML. It died without ever really taking off. Now thanks to forumotion we can keep the dream alive!
Who are we? We are a group of guys (and a few gals) who grew up together in Alaska spending many a crazy night back in the day with Star Wars marathons, playing GTA on playstation or Turok and Golden eye on N64 while slurping down Coke, Mt Dew and Redvines to stay awake. Back when our only worries where what toppings were we getting on our Cheesy's pizza. All while we waited for the next day to come for some great Alaskan adventure to unfold; searching old military ruins, trying to raft in ice cold glacier water, paintball wars, shooting whatever old junk we could find at Knik, going on trips to seward or to the mexicans ranch out in the valley etc. Fast forward a few years and it was Halo or Star Wars Battlefront lan parties and Texas hold-um tournaments with adult beverages and Redbull mostly taking the place of the aforementioned coke and dew. All while keeping up with the Alaskan style living, and keeping ourselves informed and active in this ever changing world threatening this lifestyle
We still keep things real, work hard, and play hard! Game hard and still get out into the wild. As well as get into deep discussions about the world around us and what we can do to change it. This is a site for all PCP members to keep in touch and in the know, and for those interested in taking on the PCP lifestyle to share their gaming/movie/TV/Alaskan experiences
