Does anyone know why the Assult rifle went from 60 round capacity in Halo to 32 rd capacity in Halo 3? Also same with from Halo 2 Shotgun being 12 round capacity to Halo 3 being 6 round capcity.

must have been too OP. They scaled it down to make things more difficult.

Maybe they realized that an 8 gauge shotgun would be too frikin huge to house 12 rounds...still dont get the assult rifle though.
